HÀ NỘI - Jetstar Pacific on Monday began selling air tickets on its two newest international routes connecting Đà Nẵng and Hà Nội with Osaka (Japan) at prices starting at VNĐ1.28 million (US$56.3) per ticket.
The new routes are slated for official operation in September, with four return flights per week, vietnamplus.vn reported.
With the new routes, Jetstar Pacific is striving to create more travel opportunities for tourists and businesspeople between the two countries, airline general director Nguyễn Quốc Phượng said.
Last year, Việt Nam welcomed more than 740,000 Japanese visitors, and the number is expected to increase significantly in the future.
Jetstar Pacific is the first low-cost carrier to launch direct routes from Việt Nam to Japan. - VNS
