HÀ NỘI — Honda Việt Nam will continue to be the official sponsor of Việt Nam’s national football teams after signing a contract with the Việt Nam Football Federation (VFF) yesterday in Hà Nội.

Honda will support the national men’s and women’s teams and the U23 men’s squad until April, 2021.

Honda previously contributed to the development of football in the country from 2013 to 2015.

“As Honda Việt Nam continues to be a main sponsor of Việt Nam’s football, the VFF believes that more and more sponsors are ready to contribute to the success of national teams and develop their trademarks when travelling with Vietnamese football,” said VFF general secretary Lê Hoài Anh.

Keisuke Tsuruzono, general secretary of Honda Việt Nam, said he hoped Honda would help Vietnamese national teams gain good results in international events.

Sony Electronics Việt Nam has also signed a contract to sponsor the national football teams until March, 2021. — VNS
