HÀ NỘI — Jutatip Maneephan of Thailand won the fourth stage of the Bình Dương International Women’s Cycling Tournament - Biwase Cup 2019 on Monday.
With a strong sprint, Maneephan powered through the final metres to win the 50km race around Hồ Xuân Hương Lake in Đà Lạt City in a time of 1:12.24.
The runners-up were Lee Eun Hee and So-young Namkung of South Korea’s Samyang.
Shoko Kashiki of Japan maintained her yellow jersey with the best overall time of 9:42.22, while Maneephan holds the green jersey as the best sprinter with 55 points.
Nguyễn Thị Kim Cương of Cần Thơ has the white jersey as the best young cyclist.
Japan’s national youth team still leads with a total time of 28:46.58, followed by Japan’s High Ambition 2020 and South Korea’s Samyang.
Today, cyclists will compete in the fifth stage from Nha Trang to Phan Rang-Tháp Chàm City, lasting 120km. — VNS
