HÀ NỘI — Vietnamese top tennis player Lý Hoàng Nam entered the final of men’s doubles category of the India F2 Futures tennis tournament in Kolkata yesterday.

Nam paired with Carlos Boluda Purkiss of Spain to beat the rivals from hosts Sidharth Rawat and Manish Sureshkumar 6-4, 6-2 in the semi-final match.

Nam and his teammate will face No 1 seed Arjun Kadhe and Sundar Prashanth of India today.

Earlier, Kadhe, who won the title of men’s singles of the India F1 Futures, beat Nam in the quarter-final of men’s singles division 7-6, 6-4. — VNS
