HÀ NỘI — More than 2,300 runners will compete in the Dalat Ultra Trail 2018 to be held in Lạc Dương District in the Central Highliands province of Lâm Đồng on March 16-18.

Participants will compete in 70km, 42km, 21km and 10km races. Joining the 70km trail earns runners points for Asia Trail Master Championship.

The event promises to bring varied experiences for runners with jungle trails, small village roads, coffee fields and uphill and downriver sections.

“Over the past five months, we have co-ordinated with organisers to ensure that the event will be a success,” said Nguyễn Tiến Hải, deputy director of Đà Lạt Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The event is organised by the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Việt Nam Cycling and Sports Motor Federation and MTB Series Company.

After this tournament, Đà Lạt will host a mountain bike race, the Dalat Victory Challenge, part of the Việt Nam MTB Series 2018, on March 24-25. — VNS
