HÀ NỘI — Alongside signing better local players, V.League 1 side FLC Thanh Hóa are bringing in a raft of foreign players on trial to prepare for the football season next year.
FLC Thanh Hóa, the V.League runners-up, will represent Việt Nam in the Asian Football Confederation Champions League 2018, with league winners Quang Nam ineligible due to a lack of youth teams.
The team will be allowed to register a maximum of five foreign players.
Several days ago, the team announced the signing of their new coach, Marian Mihail.
The 59-year-old is a former Romanian national player who played professionally for 17 years and has coached for the last 21.
