HÀ NỘI — After winning in the semi-finals, Thái Sơn Bắc will now face Thái Sơn Nam in the final match of the HCM City Open Futsal tournament on December 20.
In the first semi-final match on December 18, Thái Sơn Nam beat Cao Bằng 2-0 in the penalty shootout after drawing 1-1 in the main halves.
Cao Bằng proved that they weren’t easy to beat in the match. They blocked nearly all attacks of Thái Sơn Nam and opened the score first, thanks to Mi Woen in the seventh minute.
In the second half, Thái Sơn Nam created several dangerous chances for their rivals, including using power play tactics to seek goals.
In the 38th minute, Văn Quý levelled the score for Thái Sơn Nam.
In the other semi-final match, Thái Sơn Bắc defeated Hải Phương Nam 5-4.
On December 20, Hải Phương Nam will also play against Cao Bằng for the third-placed position.
The matches will be held at Phú Thọ Gymnasium in HCM City. — VNS
