HÀ NỘI — FLC Thanh Hóa have bid farewell to foreign striker Edin Junuzovic, valued VNĐ12 billion (US$521,700), after three weeks of probation.

The 31-year-old Junuzovic is a Croatian footballer who last played in the Kazakhstan Premier League for FC Ordabasy as a forward.

Earlier, Junuzovic refused to sign a contract with Quảng Ninh Coal because of disagreement on salary and transfer fee.

To prepare for the second leg of the premier league, Thanh Hóa are seeking foreign players to strengthen their team.

On Saturday, Thanh Hóa will meet SHB Đà Nẵng in the 14^th round of the league.

Thanh Hóa are No 1 in the rankings with 26 points. — VNS
