HÀ NỘI — Phong Phú Hà Nam yesterday drew 0-0 with Việt Nam Mineral Coal in the 9th round of the Thái Sơn Bắc female football cup.

With the result, Phong Phú Hà Nam surpassed Hà Nội I to top the table with 21 points.

Phong Phú Hà Nam, coached by Văn Thị Thanh, overwhelmed Việt Nam Mineral Coal from the early stages but failed to make the breakthrough.

VN Mineral Coal did manage to hit Phong Phú Hà Nam on the counter attack several times, but the first half remained scoreless.

In the second half, Phong Phú Hà Nam continued to dominate while VN Mineral Coal seemed to tire as the match went on.

In the 74th minute, Nguyễn Thị Liễu came closest to breaking the deadlock for Phong Phú Hà Nam but her long range effort failed to score.

On the same day, HCM City 1 beat HCM City 2 with a landslide score of 10-0.

Tomorrow, the 9th round will continue with Hà Nội 1 playing Sơn La at 4pm and Hà Nội 2 versus TNG Thái Nguyên at 6.30pm. Both matches will take place in HCM City’s Thống Nhất Stadium. — VNS
