More than 1,000 athletes from 27 teams across the country are competing at the National Sports Tournaments for the disabled at HCM City’s Tân Bình Gymnasium.

HÀ NỘI – More than 1,000 athletes from 27 teams across the country are competing at the National Sports Tournaments for the disabled at HCM City’s Tân Bình Gymnasium.

They will play in seven sports including swimming, table tennis, weightlifting and chess for 680 sets of medals.

This is a chance for the players to hone their skills for upcoming international tournaments, such as Rio Paralympics in Brazil.

The tournament will run until Thursday. — VNS
