HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam’s national junior team will take part in the SCG Badminton Asia Junior Championships 2016 in Thailand July 9-17.
Lê Đức Phát, Nguyễn Đức Giang and Đặng Quang Huy will compete in the men’s singles event. Phát and Huy will then form a pair in the men’s doubles.
Phạm Thị Khánh and Trần Thị Phương Thúy are the representatives in the women’s category. Khánh and Phát will pair up in the mixed doubles.
The players will also compete in a team event. They have been placed in Group D with India, the Philippines and the hosts.
The team games begin today and run through July 12, while the individual tournament will be held July 13-17. — VNS
