HÀ NỘI – Sanna Khánh Hòa are eager to win the qualifying round of the Asian Futsal Club Championships in Thailand on July 15.

“As we take part in the Asian event for the first time, our goal is to pass the qualifying round,” said coach Đặng Đình Khang.

To prepare for the event, the team played two friendly matches with Thai teams.

The squad lost to Thai Port Club 2-4 on Tuesday and defeated Nakhon Ratchasima Sat 3 Futsal Club 5-1 on Sunday.

Today Việt Nam will meet Surat Thani.

Khánh Hòa are in Group D in the coming Asian event, with Al Sadd of Qatar and Taipower FC from Chinese Taipei. — VNS
