HCM CITY — HCM City FC have officially announced the successful recruitment of Erik Sorga, a player from the Estonian national team. The 25-year-old striker will don the HCM City jersey under a contract lasting two seasons.

Last season, Sorga played 30 matches for Sumgayit Club in the Azerbaijan national championship, where he scored seven goals.

Sorga's international career is also noteworthy. He has represented Estonia at various levels, from U16 to U21, and made his debut for the senior national team in 2019. Since then, he has played 30 matches and scored four goals. Notably, during the 2022 World Cup qualifiers in Europe, Sorga scored twice against Belgium in both the first and second leg matches, with the Belgian goal guarded by the renowned goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
