HÀ NỘI — The V.League 1 2023-24 will continue today, with particular attention paid to the five teams in danger of relegation.

Round 14 marks the start of the second half of the league this season. After a break for the FIFA Days tournament teams were quick off the blocks. A total of 16 goals were scored in six matches and only one ended in a goalless draw.

After 14 matches, Nam Định is sitting at the top with 32 points, six points ahead of Bình Dương and seven points above Hà Nội Police in third.

The team that ends the season last will be relegated, while the second-to-last team faces a play-off match against a first division side. Considering the current standings, Khánh Hòa are in the most disadvantaged position, four points adrift from the second-to-last team.

Meanwhile, the remaining teams will be vying to avoid the play-off spot. HAGL, in this group, is encountering several challenges, losing some key players in the transfer window.

The match between HAGL and Quảng Nam is anticipated to capture the attention of fans, as the winning team will have a significant opportunity to improve their position in the rankings and gain a substantial morale boost.

Sông Lam Nghệ An will likely struggle to secure points when facing Hà Nội Police. Hà Nội Police, under the guidance of Thai coach Kiatisak Senamuang, are determined to chase the top group and will not afford any further setbacks, especially at home.

Hải Phòng will also face a tough match against Đông Á Thanh Hóa. Although playing at home, they will be up against a strong squad that aims to stay close to the top group in Thanh Hóa.
