HÀ NỘI -- The national football teams are expected to gain more achievements in the future after Rohto Mentholatum Việt Nam pledged their strong support for the next three years. 

The Việt Nam Football Federation (VFF) signed a deal with the new sponsor from Japan on April 2 in Hà Nội.

Accordingly, Rohto Mentholatum Việt Nam will accompany the national men's and women's senior teams and the U22 and U23 squads from 2024 to 2027.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, VFF General Secretary Dương Nghiệp Khôi said the cooperation between two sides will be a strong push for Vietnamese football.

Teams and players would practise harder and never give up, earning better results in the future.

Meanwhile Rohto-Mentholatum Việt Nam General Director Hirofumi Shiramatsu said he was in Việt Nam 19 years, long enough to witness the ups and downs of the local football.

In Việt Nam, football was not only a sport but also part of life. It was a passion for millions of Vietnamese people.

As a representative of Rohto-Mentholatum Việt Nam, he was happy to announce that the company would be side by side with the national teams.

He hoped that the support would help players reach their dreams and bring home more success.

"I am very happy to be immersed in the wonderful atmosphere of Vietnamese fans and hope that we will continue to ignite the fire of passion, overcome difficulties, and aim for even greater dreams and goals for the development of Vietnamese football," Hirofumi Shiramatsu said.

She believed that the national team would overcome the current difficulties and look towards better future with international success.
