HÀ NỘI — The 15th Home Decor Tennis Tournament of the Southern, Central and Highland Regions will be organised on March 15-17 in Phan Thiết City, Bình Thuận Province.

The three-day event, one of the Việt Nam Tennis Federation's official competitions for amateurs, features nearly 300 athletes from 31 teams. They will compete in four categories of men's over-55 doubles, men's doubles at 1,270 and 1,350 point levels and mixed doubles.

A draw will be conducted on March 15. The matches will be held two days later along with an awards gala night that will honour the champions and sponsors.

The organisers expect that it will not only be a sporting event but also a meeting of people from different localities who can share their experience while connecting with each other for better business cooperation in the future under the motto “Connection - Cooperation - Success”.

Organisers also hope that it would encourage an active lifestyle and promote people's health through practising sports.

The tournament is one of the activities to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the liberation of the South and unification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2024), and the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Tennis Federation (May 27, 1989 - May 27, 2024). VNS
