HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam sent six athletes to compete at the Suncheon Asian Mountain Bike Championship in South Korea through October 23.

The event will be held in the four categories of cross-country, cross-country relay, cross-country eliminator and cross-country downhill.

A total of 27 medals will be awarded to outstanding athletes who will also receive points for their qualification for the Paris Olympics 2024.

Trần Thị Mai is a talented woman athlete who just won a national gold medal in the age group of 17-18 in August.

At the same event, Nguyễn Văn Lãm secured two golds and two silvers in the men's age group of 17-18.
