206 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday

Another 206 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Việt Nam on Sunday, according to the Ministry of Health.

HÀ NỘI — Another 206 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Việt Nam on Sunday, according to the Ministry of Health.

Five of the new cases are imported, including three in Tây Ninh Province and two in Kiên Giang Province. All of them were quarantined immediately after entering Việt Nam.

The remaining 201 cases are domestic. As many as 121 are in Bắc Giang Province, 40 in Bắc Ninh Province, 31 in HCM City, five in Hà Tĩnh Province, two in Hà Nội and two in Bình Dương Province.

Fifteen out of 63 provinces and cities in the country have not seen any new cases in the past 14 days.

A total of 58 patients were declared to have recovered from the disease, raising the number of recover patients to 3,368. — VNS
