Twelve more imported cases of COVID-19 reported in Việt Nam

Twelve more imported cases of COVID-19 were reported in Việt Nam on Saturday evening, all Vietnamese citizens, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

 HÀ NỘI — Twelve more imported cases of COVID-19 were reported in Việt Nam on Saturday evening, all Vietnamese citizens, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

The total number of COVID-19 patients in Việt Nam now stands at 1,160.

Patients 1149-1150 returned to Việt Nam from France via Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport onboard flight VN5010 on October 21. They were put into quarantine in southern Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu Province and tested positive for the virus on October 24.

Patients 1151-1153 returned to Việt Nam from Russia via Vân Đồn Airport in northern Quảng Ninh Province on October 16 onboard flight VN5062. They were put into quarantine in northern Ninh Bình Province upon arrival and tested positive for the virus on October 23.

Patients 1154-1156 arrived in Việt Nam from Germany via Vân Đồn Airport on October 23 and were put into quarantine in northern Thái Bình Province. They tested positive for the virus on October 24.

Patients 1157-1160 returned to Việt Nam from Angola via Vân Đồn Airport on October 20 onboard flight VN8 and were put into quarantine in northern Bắc Giang Province. They tested positive for the virus on October 23.

The committee also announced two more COVID-19 patients were given the all-clear the same day. — VNS
