BẮC NINH — The Health Department of northern Bắc Ninh province announced on Saturday that 172 engineers of Samsung Display, who flew into Việt Nam from the Republic of Korea on March 13, have completed their 14-day quarantine and all have tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 twice.
Four medical workers and six policemen involved in the engineers' quarantine process and 53 staff members at the hotel where they were quarantined also tested negative for the coronavirus.
After the engineers on Friday moved out to other accommodations, the hotel was disinfected before welcoming other Samsung employees.
As scheduled, 179 more engineers of Samsung will travel to Việt Nam from South Korea to work on Saturday.

After receiving them at Quảng Ninh Province’s Vân Đồn airport, Vietnamese agencies will take details of their personal information and travel history in the 14 days before their arrival, and check the SARS-CoV-2 test document provided by the Kangbuk Samsung Hospital. The engineers will then be taken to the hotel in Bắc Ninh’s Yên Phong District for concentrated quarantine.
