HÀ NỘI — The Ministry of Health has announced six new cases of COVID-19, all employees of Trường Sinh Company, which provides none medical services to Bạch Mai Hospital.
It brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in Việt Nam to 194.
The 189th patient is a 46-year-old woman who lives in Tân Quang Commune, Nông Cống District, Thanh Hoá Province. She is an employee of the boiling water delivery division of Trường Sinh Company.
The patient was living in the same house as two other people from the company who previously tested positive. In the past two weeks, the patient has not travelled far from the hospital campus.

On March 25, she developed symptoms of coughing, a sore throat and fever. On March 28, the patient was transferred to the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases 2 (Đông Anh District, Hà Nội). Her sample was transferred to the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology.
Currently, she is being treated at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases 2 where her condition is described as stable.
Patient number 190 is a 49-year-old female.
Patient number 191 is a 36-year-old female.
Patient number 192 is 23-year-old female.
Patient number 193 is 21-year-old a female.
Patient number 194 is a 42 year-old female.
Information about these cases will be updated later, the Health Ministry said.
The Ministry also corrected information about two patients previously announced.
Due to errors in collecting and updating information, in the press release issued at 6.30pm on March 29, the ministry duplicated the case of patient 184 with the case of patient number 173, which was previously announced. The Ministry also corrected some details of patient number 185.
Patient number 184 is a 42-year-old female whose address is in Diễn Văn Commune, Diễn Châu District, Nghệ An Province. She is also an employee of Trường Sinh Company. She was working in the hospital canteen.
She lives in the same house with two people working in the same company who previously tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus. She too has not visited many places other than the hospital.
On March 28, she developed a cough, sore throat and fever. On March 28, the patient was transferred to the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases 2 (Đông Anh District, Hà Nội). Her sample was transferred to the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology.
Currently, she is being treated at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases 2 where she is also in a stable condition.
So far, 15 employees of Trường Sinh Company have tested positive for COVID-19.
Regarding patient 185, the previous information was that he went to Bạch Mai Hospital in Hà Nội for eight-days of treatment and left the hospital on March 19. But this was incorrect.
Patient number 185 is a 38-year-old male, from Đông La Commune, Hoài Đức District, Hà Nội. He went to Bạch Mai Hospital's Neurology Department to take care of his brother-in-law on March 15,16, 18 and 19. He visited the hospital canteen at least twice during that time.
He tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus on March 28 and was transferred to the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases 2.
