Two dead, eight injured in explosion

KHÁNH HÒA Two people died and at least eight others were injured in an explosion before dawn yesterday at a construction site on the Long Thành golf course.

The news was released by Nguyễn Ngọc Sơn, deputy chairman of the Cam Ranh City People’s Committee in the central province of Khánh Hòa.

The golf course is part of the KN Paradise Cam Ranh Project. The investor of the project is KN Cam Ranh Co Ltd.

Six out of the eight injured people suffered serious burns. They are undergoing treatment at the provincial hospital.

Colonel Nguyễn Bá Đoàn, head of the Cam Ranh City Police, said the explosion could be related violations of safe working norms. VNS
