HÀ NỘI — The Ministry of Transport has set up four teams to monitor traffic safety at key bus stations, airports and domestic seaports for the upcoming Tết (Lunar New Year) holiday.

The teams will work with local authorities to inspect vehicles and drivers at bus stations, inland waterway wharfs and cargo docks.

The teams will also monitor transport fares to avoid sudden price hikes as well as measures to ensure traffic safety for road projects under construction and handle black spots of traffic accidents.

They will also ask local authorities to carry out measures to ensure traffic order and safety.

Inspections will start tomorrow. — VNS
