ĐỒNG NAI — At the massive Long Thành International Airport construction site in the southern province of Đồng Nai, the working atmosphere has been urgent and serious at the end of the year, as hundreds of construction teams feel responsible for completing their work as quickly as possible.

Nearly 7,000 engineers and labourers, as well as nearly 3,000 pieces of equipment, are going full speed ahead in the spirit of "overcoming sun and rain" and "eat quickly, sleep urgently".

They are working three shifts through weekends, holidays and even for the Lunar New Year to accelerate the project's progress.

All are striving to complete phase one of the Long Thành Airport Project ahead of schedule, before the end of next year.
