HCM City to temporarily suspend water supply for maintenance of system this weekend

The Saigon Water Supply Corporation (SAWACO), the largest water supply company in HCM City, will pause water supply in many wards of Thủ Đức City from 9pm May 11 to 5pm May 12 to perform maintenance on the water supply system.

HCM CITY – The Saigon Water Supply Corporation (SAWACO), the largest water supply company in HCM City, will pause water supply in many wards of Thủ Đức City from 9pm May 11 to 5pm May 12 to perform maintenance on the water supply system.

Areas where water supply will be interrupted include Bình Chiểu, Hiệp Bình Chánh, Hiệp Bình Phước, Linh Đông, Tam Bình and Tam Phú wards.

In addition, other districts that will also be affected by weak and ineffective water supple include Bình Thạnh, Gò Vấp, District 12 and the Tân Sơn Nhất Airport area in Tân Bình District.

To minimise the impact on people's lives, SAWACO will increase water supply activities by tank trucks to areas where water supply is temporarily suspended. Water supply by tank trucks will be carried out continuously during the water suspension period. – VNS
