Eight killed in a traffic collision in Quảng Nam Province

QUẢNG NAM — Eight people died on Tuesday after a passenger coach and a tractor trailer crashed in the central province of Quảng Nam.

The accident was reported at 4am at the intersection leading to Tam Hiệp Port in Núi Thành District.

The passenger coach (registration plate number 76B-006.60) collided with the tractor heading towards the Trường Hải Overfly-Tam Hiệp Port.

Eight people including the driver and his assistant have been confirmed dead. A number of other people have been injured and taken to hospital.

Local authorities of Quảng Nam Province are present at the scene to address the situation and provide support to the victims' families.
