Ginseng festival in Quang Nam

About 10,000 local residents and tourists are expected to join the first Ngọc Linh Ginseng Festival – part of series cultural events during the sixth Quảng Nam Heritage Festival – in Nam Trà My District on June 13-16.

The floating rice dumplings of Cold Food Day

Bánh trôi is in the size of a grape and made of rice, with a palm sugar cube inside; bánh chay is the size of an egg, with mung beans inside, and is served with thick sweet sauce. While bánh chưng (square sticky rice cake) is a must for the Vietnamese Lunar New Year,  trôi and chay dumplings are eaten in almost every Vietnamese family on Cold Food Day, which falls on the third day of the third lunar month (March 30th this year). 

Bad Boys Blue cancelled its concert in Hà Nội

The internationally-acclaimed band Bad Boys Blue cancelled their upcoming concert in Việt Nam after the group was involved in an accident in Russia, and singer John McInerney suffered severe injuries.
