More than 40 black-and-white and colour photos featuring Sài Gòn and its history are on display at Book Street (Nguyễn Văn Bình Street) in HCM City’s District 1.

Woodblocks from the Nguyễn dynasty (1802-1945), which have been recognised as World Documentary Heritage by UNESCO, will be on display at Temple of Literature from Saturday.

Art lovers will have the chance to enjoy artworks by several prominent Vietnamese artists when an exhibition showcasing their pieces opens to the public on Saturday at Tràng Tiền Plaza. Entitled Chuốt Mi or Mascara, the exhibition will present contemporary works by painters Nguyễn Nghĩa Cương, Nguyễn Văn Cường, Vũ Đình Tuấn, Bùi Thanh Tâm, Ngô Văn Sắc, Nguyễn Thế Hùng, Phạm Tuấn Tú and sculptor Lương Đức Hùng.
