Art lovers will have the chance to enjoy artworks by several prominent Vietnamese artists when an exhibition showcasing their pieces opens to the public on Saturday at Tràng Tiền Plaza. Entitled Chuốt Mi or Mascara, the exhibition will present contemporary works by painters Nguyễn Nghĩa Cương, Nguyễn Văn Cường, Vũ Đình Tuấn, Bùi Thanh Tâm, Ngô Văn Sắc, Nguyễn Thế Hùng, Phạm Tuấn Tú and sculptor Lương Đức Hùng.
The artworks, more than just portraits of women, are faces representing age, culture, and class. The exhibition strives to convey the creativity of young contemporary artists in Việt Nam, who are constantly on the lookout for new means of expression.
The exhibition is free and will open from 10am on Saturday until September 3 on the 3rd floor of Tràng Tiền Plaza, 24 Hai Bà Trưng Street.— VNS
