NHA TRANG— Vietnamese-American singer Dương Triệu Vũ will perform in a concert in Nha Trang City on Sunday to welcome the Christmas and New Year season.
The event, called Dạ Nguyệt (Moon Night), will feature pop stars Đàm Vĩnh Hưng and Bảo Anh of HCM City.
Vietnamese-American Minh Tuyết will also be featured.
The artists will perform more than 25 romantic songs composed by famous musicians in pop, dance and electronic music on themes related to youth, love and life.
Featured songs include Bài Thánh Ca Buồn (Sad Anthem) Anh Muốn Em Sống Sao (How I Live without You), Thầm Gọi Tên Anh (Missing You), Người Tình Mùa Đông (Love in Winter) and Em Lỡ Thôi À (Betrayal).
“Through my music, I want to highlight life and love,” said 36-year-old singer Vũ, who will appear with his older bother, famous comedian Hoài Linh, in the show.
Vũ began his career in 2006 after working with Thuý Nga Music Production, a leading entertainment agency based in California.
He has performed in many cities in the US, France and Việt Nam.
In 2010, he returned to HCM City to develop his career. He has performed in various TV shows and won top prizes at music awards presented by HCM City Television and Người Lao Động (Labourer) newspaper.
Vu, who works for MayQ Productions and Saigon New Directions, has released nine albums and organised three concerts in HCM City and Hà Nội.
The concert, Dạ Nguyệt, will begin at 8pm on December 6 at Six Senses Ninh Vân Bay in Nha Trang.— VNS
