HCM CITY — Oktoberfest Vietnam 2026 will return to Windsor Plaza Hotel from September 23 to 26, with organisers introducing several new features to refresh the experience while retaining the festival's traditional Bavarian identity.

Compared to previous editions, this year's event will offer unlimited imported Maisel's Weisse Dunkel and Veltins Pilsner beers, a commemorative beer glass for every ticket holder, and an expanded entertainment programme featuring both a live band from Munich and DJ performances.

Among the highlights this year is the inclusion of unlimited imported Maisel's Weisse Dunkel and Veltins Pilsner beers from Germany, while every ticket holder will also receive a specially designed Oktoberfest Vietnam commemorative beer glass.

The entertainment programme has also been expanded with a live DJ performance alongside musicians from Munich, adding a contemporary touch to the festival's traditional Bavarian atmosphere.

Organisers said the festival will continue to recreate the spirit of Munich's world-famous Oktoberfest with German cuisine, live music and interactive activities.

A nightly lucky draw and the traditional beer keg tapping ceremony on the opening night will also be part of the programme. Around 2,000 guests are expected each evening.

The food menu will feature classic German favourites, including Frankfurter, Nürnberger and Bratwurst sausages, schnitzel, roasted pork knuckle, braised veal, sauerkraut and pretzels, alongside international dishes.

First launched in 2005, Oktoberfest Vietnam has grown into one of Southeast Asia's largest Oktoberfest celebrations.

This year's edition is positioned as an upgraded experience combining authentic German traditions with new entertainment offerings for local and international visitors. — VNS
