On 22 September, Lotte Shopping celebrated the official grand opening of Lotte Mall West Lake Hanoi. The event was attended by prominent Vietnamese government officials and top executives of the Lotte Group. This newly unveiled shopping centre embodies Lotte’s vision of establishing a Lotte Town in Vietnam, with the goal of providing Vietnamese citizens with a premier shopping destination and an unparalleled Asian shopping experience.

Lotte Mart experienced an impressive influx of visitors, with an average of over 20,000 daily attendees during its initial three-day launch.

In addition to Lotte Mart's top-notch shopping experience, the mall also offers captivating entertainment venues, such as the Lotte World Aquarium Hanoi, which spans the first and second basement floors. Encompassing a staggering 9,000 square metres and housing colossal water tanks filled with 3,400 tonnes of water, this aquarium is set to claim the title of Hanoi's largest aquatic wonder. Within its depths, visitors will encounter approximately 31,000 sea creatures representing an impressive 400 species. In the coming year, Lotte World Aquarium Hanoi aims to enchant roughly a million visitors, both local and international, offering an aquatic experience that promises to be truly exceptional.

Lotte World Aquarium recorded an average of 10,000 daily visitors during the Vietnam National Day holidays from 1 September through 4 September.
