HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam’s automaker VinFast officially announced a “Three Zero” price policy for its automobile models at a car launch ceremony in Hà Nội on Tuesday.

The “Three Zero” price policy includes “zero depreciation, zero financial expense and zero interest rates,” and applies to the Lux and Fadil models.

In the initial stages, VinFast will not include depreciation costs, financial expenses (interest payable on loans for investment in plant construction) or interest rates in the products’ prices. The selling price will be the same as the production cost calculated plus the selling cost.

The official published prices for VinFast Lux SA 2.0 (SUV), VinFast Lux A 2.0 (Sedan) and VinFast Fadil are VNĐ1.818 billion (about US$79,000), VNĐ1.366 billion ($59,400) and VNĐ423 million ($18,400), respectively.

In the beginning stage, VinFast will apply special preferential rates in addition to the existing “Three Zero” price policy for these automobile models. With these limited rates, prices for VinFast Lux SA 2.0 (SUV), VinFast Lux A 2.0 (Sedan) and VinFast Fadil are VNĐ1.136 billion, VNĐ800 million and VNĐ336 million, respectively.

The above rates do not include value added tax (VAT).

In order to own a Vietnamese car in accordance with international standards for the best price, customers just need to sign a car purchase agreement at the launch ceremony of VinFast in Thống Nhất Park (November 20 and 21, 2018) or at VinFast showrooms in Vincom trading centres nationwide from November 20.

The list of VinFast showrooms is available online at vinfast.vn. The deposit rate for each Fadil car is VNĐ20 million and for the Lux model is VNĐ50 million.

According to Vingroup’s general director Nguyễn Việt Quang, the common advantage of the Lux and Fadil automobile models is that they are designed to match the physical strength of Vietnamese people as well as climate and traffic in Việt Nam.

“With the application of the most advanced designs, techniques and technologies from Vingroup, VinFast is expected to contribute to the economy with products deserving the name “Việt Nam’s pride” in the international journey,” Quang added.

After the launch in Hà Nội, VinFast will hold a launch ceremony in HCM City from 10am to 10pm on November 25 and 26, 2018 at the Vinhomes Central Park. — VNS
