VIENTIANE — A photo exhibition celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) opened in Vientiane on Friday, displaying hundreds of photographs, documents, and nearly 300 artefacts.
The exhibition offers visitors a journey through history, reflecting on the Party leadership in Laos' revolutionary struggle for national liberation, as well as its role in and contributions to nation-building, development, and recent reforms.
This exhibition serves as an opportunity to educate future generations, particularly young people, about the LPRP’s ideals and inspire them to uphold traditions and to propel their country forward.
Under the leadership of the LPRP, the Lao people achieved a historic victory on December 2, 1975, liberating the country from imperialist and colonial rule and establishing the Lao People's Democratic Republic. — VNS
