Vung Viêng, a fishing village located in Hạ Long Bay, Quảng Ninh Province, has been recognised by several international travel magazines as one of the most beautiful fishing villages in the world. This recognition has drawn a significant number of tourists, especially from abroad.
In the first seven months of this year, Vung Viêng fishing village welcomed 39,049 visitors, of which 37,144 were international tourists, accounting for more than 95 per cent of the total. VNS
