HÀ NỘI — Hà Nội FC is one of the best six teams in Southeast Asia, according to the latest rankings released by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).

The capital team scored 27.08, ranking behind Ceres Negros FC of the Philippines, Buriram United FC and Muangthong United FC of Thailand, Johor Darul Ta’zim FC of Malaysia, and Home United FC of Singapore.

In Asia, Hà Nội FC is ranked 52nd out of 169 teams.

Despite being ranked sixth, Hà Nội still ranked above other big teams of Asia such as Deagu FC of South Korea, Yokohama F.Marinos, Vissel Kobe, FC Tokyo of Japan as well as Brisbane Roar FC and Western Sydney Wanderers FC of Australia.

Hà Nội gained this result after reaching the final round of the inter-regional AFC Cup 2019.

Meanwhile, other Vietnamese representatives Bình Dương FC, Thanh Hóa FC, and Nghệ An FC are ranked in 87th, 94th, and 103rd positions, respectively. — VNS
