Futsal team to sharpen skills in Spain

HÀ NỘI — The national futsal team will leave for a training camp in Spain on February 9 in preparation for next month’s Asian Championship in Turkmenistan.

During their time there, the 2016 World Cup participants will play three friendly matches with local teams Uma Antaquera (February 12), Malaga CF (February 14) and Real Betis (February 18).

After their 10-day camp they will fly to Turkmenistan for the continental competition.

Việt Nam are in Group A with Tajikistan, Oman and the hosts. The Southeast Asian team have set a target of making it to the World Cup, with the top five teams qualifying. — VNS
