HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam national men’s football team dropped one spot to world No 97 in the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA)’s rankings for July.

However, they still hold the top spot in Southeast Asia, followed by Thailand, world No 115 and the Philippines (126).

In Asia, Việt Nam remained in 15th position. Iran are still the strongest team, ranking world No 23 (down three notches), trailed by Japan, world No 33 and South Korea, world No 37.
