Đà Nẵng ironman contest opens for registration

ĐÀ NẴNG — Registration for the 2020 TECHCOMBANK IRONMAN 70.3 Vietnam competition opened on Friday, offering early registration for 600 people in a two-month period.

The race’s organisers made the announcement in a statement on Friday, stating that early registrants will receive a complimentary option to personalise their race medals with their name and finish time.

Thousands of athletes are expected to join the 6th annual TECHCOMBANK IRONMAN 70.3 Vietnam in Đà Nẵng recently chosen as one of the ’52 Places to Go in 2019’ by the New York Times, with a US$15,000 professional prize purse on offer from May 7-10 next year. 

The race also offers 56 qualifying slots to the 2020 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Taupo, New Zealand later next year.
