Russians win volleyball world tour in Tuần Châu island

HÀ NỘI — Ksenia Dabizha and Daria Rudykh beat Alexandra Moiseeva and Ekaterina Syrtseva 2-0 in an all-Russian final to win the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour that closed in Quảng Ninh Province yesterday. 

It was a sweet result for Dabizha and Rudykh who took part in the tournament held in the Tuần Châu Island for the first time.

Speaking after winning Rudykh said it was hot in Tuần Châu but it did not affect much to her performance. The people was nice and the landscape was beautiful. She was happy to take win in her debut here.

The Russian duo brought home points for their world ranking and US$2,000 in cash.

In the third-place match ealier, Japanese Yui Nagata and Yukato Suzuki beat Romanian Beata Vaida and Ioana-Alexandra Ordean 2-0 to take the bronze medal. 

Twenty-eight teams from 13 countries and territories join the tournament which is oranised annually. — VNS
