HÀ NỘI — The National Youth Karate Championship this year will begin in Lâm Đồng Province on May 28, the National Sports Administration has announced.
The event is expected to feature some 600 martial artists from across the country, competing in women’s and men’s performance and combat categories in various age groups.
The annual event’s best fighters will be selected for national teams.
It will last until June 6.
Last year, Hà Nội triumphed at the event with 12 gold, five silver and six bronze medals. The Police were second with five gold, eight silver and seven bronze medals, while Đồng Tháp came third with five gold, two silver and four bronze medals. — VNS
