HÀ NỘI — AC Milan is planning to open an academy later this month and begin its first course in September 2019 in Hà Nội.
Co-established by the Italian club and the Japanese-based Hojitsu Group, the academy will be based in the capital city.
It will start recruiting coaches and players in April. The academy will adopt a philosophy that dates back a 100 years and prioritises both techniques and ethics through sport. Training sessions will be focused on building knowledge of the rules, fair play and a balanced diet. AC Milan academies have been set up in 10 countries across the globe, with 29,000 children training at them. — VNS
