HÀ NỘI — Grandmaster Lê Quang Liêm dropped eighth at the ongoing Gibraltar International Chess Festival after drawing his third round match on Wednesday in the UK.

Liêm, who is seeded No 8, tied with Indian GM Suri Vaibhav. Both have 2.5 points after three games.

The Vietnamese will next play GM Fernando Peralta from Argentina.

David Navara of the Czech Republic leads the table with three points, followed by Sarasadat Khademalsharieh of Iran and Rinat Jumabayev of Kazakhstan. — VNS
