HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam will compete at the Asian Fencing Championships, which will kick off in Hong Kong today.
More than 300 athletes, 18 Vietnamese, representing nearly 30 countries in 12 events including both men’s and women’s individual and team divisions.
Việt Nam sent their strongest competitors such as Olympians Vũ Thành An (men’s sabre) and Đỗ Thị Anh (women’s foil) and Southeast Asian Games winner Nguyễn Thị Hoài Thu (women’s foil) and Nguyễn Thị Như Hoa (women’s epee) to Hong Kong’s AsiaWorld-Expo Station, Chek Lap Kok Island.
The tournament will end June 20.
