Aerobic team brings home World Cup medals

Vietnamese aerobic athlete grabbed one gold, four silver and two bronze medals from the FIG World Cup Series Tokyo International which closed on Sunday.

HÀ NỘI — Vietnamese aerobic athlete grabbed one gold, four silver and two bronze medals from the FIG World Cup Series Tokyo International which closed on Sunday.

Nguyễn Chế Thanh pocketed his title in the boys’ 15-17 age group. His teammate Bùi Minh Phương stood second in the girls’ pool.

Three other silvers went to duo Phan Thế Gia Hiển and Trần Hà Vi (15-17 category); group of three (15-17 category) and group of five (above 18).

The only bronze went to Phạm Nhật Phương Trinh in the girls’ individual 15-17 age category.

The two-day World Cup drew participants from 15 countries, including powerhouses such as China, France, North Korea and the Philippines.

They competed in two divisions for seniors (five categories) and age groups (eight categories). — VNS
