HÀ NỘI — Hà Nội triumphed at the National Archery Championships which concluded in the southern province of Vĩnh Long yesterday.

The team brought home 16 golds, seven silvers and nine bronzes. Hosts Vĩnh Long came second with nine golds, six silvers and six bronzes. Trà Vinh finished third with three golds, one silver and three bronzes.

The six-day event featured nearly 150 archers competing for 32 sets of medals.

The event’s outstanding archers will either be added to Việt Nam’s national archery team for intensive training, or compete at regional tournaments. The top archers will compete at the Southeast Asian Games 2017 in Malaysia. — VNS
