HƯNG YÊN — PVF beat Bà Rịa Vũng Tàu 4-1 to win the National U15 Football Championship -- Acecook Cup 2024, setting a record of six titles, on September 13 in Hưng Yên Province.

The final was a match of two sides that were unbeatable from the beginning of the tournament. But it was PFV continued to show their power in the gold medal match on their home ground and strong local support.

Just 10 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Du opened the score with a straight header.

Bà Rịa Vũng Tàu however were not easy rival after they knocked out stronger teams in the previous rounds.

Nguyễn Lê Quang Khôi made a smart long pass to Thế Anh who left all PVF's defenders behind before finding the back of the net at the 29th minute.

The second half saw PVF's domination. Anh Tú made it 2-1 for the hosts about 23 minutes after the break. Du completed his double at the 81st mark and Duy Khanh finalised 4-1 for PVF in the additional time.

PFV beat Bà Rịa Vũng Tàu 4-1 in the final of the National U15 Football Championship.

It was PVF's second title in a row and sixth in their history, making them the most trophy winner of the tournament which was first held in 1999.

Along with the championship victory, PVF's players were also honoured as outstanding individuals at the awarding ceremony.

Striker Nguyễn Văn Dương took the MVP and top scorer award with seven goals while teammate Lý Xuân Hòa was the best goalkeeper.

Bà Rịa Vũng Tàu claimed silver. Đông Á Thanh Hóa and Thể Công Viettel shared the third position. VNS
