HÀ NỘI — Hoàng Anh Gia Lai (HAGL) are fifth after a draw with Khánh Hòa, while Nam Định climbed to the top of the V.League 1 rankings after winning against Sông Lam Nghệ An (SLNA) on Tuesday.

Đình Bảo gave the advantage to the home team of Pleiku Stadium in the 16th minute with a header to open the scoring for HAGL after Minh Vương's free kick.

However, HAGL failed to protect their lead and Jairo Filho equalised.

With this home draw, HAGL only have eight points from six matches to rank fifth. Khánh Hòa are eighth with six points.

In the other match, Nam Định won 1-0 at Thiên Trường Stadium against SLNA.

Nguyễn Phong Hồng Duy played the hero of Nam Định with the only goal in the 43rd minute of the match.

This victory helped Nam Định overcome Hà Nội FC and Đông Á Thanh Hóa to top the rankings. — VNS
