Social security needs to change ahead of the Industry 4.0

Social security mechanism and regulations will have to be changed since the fourth industrial revolution and free movement of labour have led to new kinds of jobs and ways of working, Deputy Prime Minister Vũ Đức Đam has said.

Bạch Mai Hospital gives free checkups and gifts for the needy in Yên Bái Province

A group of doctors and social workers from the Bạch Mai Hospital (under the Ministry of Health) collaborated with Yên Bái Province's health department to organise free screenings for vascular diseases for 120 patients at the Yên Bái General Hospital. The group also presented gifts for the poor patients, local war heroes, as well as delivered scholarships and life skill books for 322 primary students in the northern mountainous locality. AmCham expands annual scholarships

The American Chamber of Commerce in Việt Nam will award 60 scholarships valued at VNĐ12 million (US$515) each to students from 18 leading universities in HCM City and Bình Dương Province.
