Việt Nam reports three more imported cases of COVID-19

Three more imported cases of COVID-19 are reported on Thursday evening, all Vietnamese citizens, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

 HÀ NỘI — Three more imported cases of COVID-19 are reported on Thursday evening, all Vietnamese citizens, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

The total number of patients now stands at 1,148.

The three patients returned Việt Nam from Angola via Vân Đồng Airport in northern Quảng Ninh Province onboard flight VN8 on Tuesday.

They include a male patient, 46, from central Hà Tĩnh Province. He was put into quarantine in northern Bắc Ninh Province upon his arrival.

The two other patients, a 35-year-old woman from northern Bắc Giang Province and a 36-year-old man from HCM City, were quarantined in Bắc Giang Province.

All the patients are being treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Disease in Hà Nội’s Đông Anh District.

The committee also announced that three more COVID-19 patients were given the all-clear on Thursday. — VNS
